The 2011 Quiksilver Tahoe-Nalu Paddle Festival presented by Maui Jim went off Aug 13-14 in beautiful weather at King’s Beach, N. Lake Tahoe. Tahoe-Nalu started this race series in 2007 and has grown exponentially over the last five years. This year saw 700 competitors battle for prizes and cash. Paddle maestro Danny Ching smoked the field in the Elite race and Candice Appleby took top honors in the woman’s division. Check out the photos. More info at http://www.tahoenalu.com/.
